About JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru
Established in the year 2008 under Section 3
of the UGC Act 1956, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research
Mysuru is a Deemed to be University. JSS Academy of Higher Education
and Research Mysuru is also known as JSS AHER Mysore. The university was
formerly known as JSS University. As per the official website, the
vision of the institute is to impart education that will help to
transform individuals and the society. The varsity is a part of the JSS
Mahavidyapeetha and has been approved by the All India Council for
Technical Education. The varsity has several collaborations with foreign
institutions. Some of the collaborations of the National Board of
Accreditation are - La Trobe University Australia, Khon Kaen University
Thailand, AIMST University Malaysia, University of Illinois at Chicago,
National Institutes of Health USA, Oman Medical College, etc. JSS
Academy of Higher Education and Research Mysuru has been accredited by
the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and National Board of
Accreditation.

Various JSS AHER Mysore facilities can be availed by its students. IT infrastructure, health centre, sports, cafeteria, etc. are some of the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research Mysuru facilities. There are separate hostels for boys and girls and the basic amenities are available for the hostellers. A gym is present at the campus with the essential gym equipment. Apart from the physical reading resources available at the libraries of the university, students can also avail the facility of the digital library.
